An Overview of the Development of the Russian Information Warfare Concept Part 2.
After the infamous cyber attacks against Estonia in 2007 and the Ukrainian conflict in 2014–15, the Russian military theory, and in particular, Information Warfare (IW) doctrines, have come into the center of attention. IW has played a very peculiar role in the Russian political and military theory and practice, and its current state can be regarded as a climax in its evolution. To gain an in-depth understanding of the Russian strategic thinking, the second part of this article strives to give an overview of the current phase of the process.

Artillery general Eimannsberger shared the views of the Soviet military theorists in connection with the deep operations, but he emphasized the mass application of tank units. As per his final conclusions, the attacking tank units can no longer face undefended front lines, the anti-tank weapons will serve as basis of the defense. General Guderian defined the task of the tank units in assaulting in the appropriate zone for their application against the prepared defense lines of the enemy, based on the power of surprise. Accepting the approach of John Frederick Charles Fuller as detailed in the first part of this Article, lieutenant-colonel de Gaulle held France to be able to defend itself against a German surprise attack, only if it would have a mechanized army consisting of professional soldiers.

After the 9/11 terror attacks the term ‘strategic communication’ became widely used by political and military leaders as well. As a result, for today there are many definitions in use to describe it, however, we are still facing great challenges when trying to understand the real meaning of this term. The author describres different approaches to help understand this term and explains his conviction that the interdisciplinary approach provides the most effective methodology/framework for the best understanding as well as further research.

Network and Information Security of Cloud Computing Services
The security of network and information systems has become a critical issue for both the public and private sectors in the last decade. This article reviews the current EU directive in this area, looking for safety and reliability requirements. Next, we get an overview of the different models of cloud computing services. Finally, the relationship between the identified security and reliability requirements and the cloud computing service models will be described.

The region seems to be appreciating and is becoming the scene of geopolitics. Global climate change greatly appreciates the importance of the region and changes the geopolitical balance of power. The purpose of this study is to present the power games in the Arctic and the consequences of global warming in the region. In addition, the geostrategic position of the area, its natural, social, economic and military conditions and its impact on security will be examined.

Sharing best practices, Hungarian Hussars trained and helped to create Hussar Corps in 34 countries of the world. Although over time and with technological progress, the era of the Hussar troops fighting on horseback has all passed in the twentieth century, but not the Hussars themselves. The next article is aiming to introduce the organisation and mission of the Hussar units that are still in active duty in the Danish and French Armed Forces.

The concepts of hero and heroism accompany the history of humanity. These concepts may be constant properties and changing characteristics as well. This paper traces the changing faces of heroism from Antiquity up to the recent times, and illustrates the different concepts with historical and other examples. The last chapter of the paper comes to the analysis of the specific heroism concept of Miklós Zrínyi.

What comes to our mind from the word stress? In most cases a tension as bad experience, a frustration generating negative effect. The stress is part of our everyday life, the natural level of which is vital for us, it is the source of our motivation and our creative energy. It is one of the definitive conditions for staying alive, because of the immediate sensation and recognition of danger. As a remnant of the evolutional development, there comes an instinctive quick reaction on the chances, which results in the birth of the ‘flight’ or ‘fight’ decision. During this time the individual decides that he or she will evade the sensed danger or looks into its eye. Think about the fauna! In our civilised life, we, too, fight every day for our (quality of) lives, more so in specified professions, where there are situations in case of which the fight for life can be taken literally, for example in the case of the military and law enforcement personnel: soldiers, policemen and firefighters.

This paper marks out possible further research directions based on the research problem that security awareness or unawareness has an impact on the correct approach of society-related security issues, acting as a human risk factor. Considering technically emerging reliability problems of authentication solutions (focusing on biometrics) as vulnerabilities, the author makes suggestions upon implementing possible risk management steps. Elements of the complex answer given to security questions related to private and organisational (employee) behavior can be an increase of the level of leadership commitment, evolvement of the organisational security awareness and continuous improvement of problem handling process.

In the past decades, or even during the last hundred years, many books and articles have been published on the Crusade in 1396 and on the Battle of Nicopolis. The interest is not surprising, because this was one of the iconic late medieval crusader events. Serious preparations were taken. This includes the parade as well. The theme is huge, so the study is going to deal only with Hungary and the western section of the route of the Hungarian troops. The deployment route of the marching battalions/armies is far from being as clarified as one might think. My study attempts to answer the following questions: When did the Western crusaders reach Buda, and when and on what route did they proceed south? When did the Hungarian king and his barons – and with them the Hungarian troops – join the crusaders? How many columns were involved in the advancement? The study shows that Sigismund, after receiving in Buda the Western leaders, made an important diplomatic detour to the Hungarian-Polish border. The arrival of Western leaders to Buda should be placed on the first half of June. After that the study will take into account the possible routes of the Western and Hungarian Crusaders. Another part of the crusader army was the minor army columns which advanced through Transylvania to Wallachia and were led by the faithful baron of the Hungarian king, Voivode Stibor.

The development of military leadership thinking has taken on a new dimension after the end of the infulence of the Soviet regime on the Hungarian army, which soon became a member of NATO. This enormous turn resulted in persistently developing new requirements permanently shaping the life of the Hungarian army, thus generating new defiances for military leaders. It is inevitable to meet the requirements of various challenges, which is now an ultimate expectation after the past 30 years. On the other hand, there is a constant need for adopting to the changes, which are complicated by the evolution of society and the setup of different generations.

Narkoterrorizmus Mexikóban A mexikói drogháború és annak egyes rendészeti, katonai vonatkozásai
In my writing, I present the phenomenon of the "Mexican Drug War," both from a military and law enforcement perspective. Illegeal drug trafficking has a history of more than 100 years on the American continent, and I discuss its changes and key milestones in the first half of the publication. In what follows, I will explore the effects of narcoterrorism on the state, and in connection with this, I will examine whether Mexico can be considered a „failed state” or not. Then I introduce the most important actors of the complex environment thus formed, and the possibilities of cooperation between law enforcement and military professions, and in the last part I summarize my conclusions and suggestions.

Preparing the population for emergencies is indispensable because the success of this activity can greatly facilitate the creation or maintenance of security: the safety of human lives and material goods, saving them in case of danger, increasing the efficiency of the intervention and minimising the damage caused. Preparation can take place through multiple channels. Today, more and more platforms are emerging for communication purposes, so they can be used in the disaster management and flood preparation of the population as well. The authors set out to describe the current roles and tasks in preparing the population, and to present new ways to support this, which can greatly help to prepare the population for a possible flood.

The popularity of the new media’s platforms is durable, the social relations are transferred into the virtual space. Meanwhile the sociologists explain that it is getting more and more difficult to stop the violent contents, and that too much surfing on the internet is in connection with the decline of social relations, which is more serious in case of sensitive people. This study aims to higlight from a security policy perspective the new media, and in connection with that, the danger of loneliness and lone attackers.
