Drones are used in many areas. Almost every application requires drones to receive or send information to another drone or to the ground segment. On the analogue transmission channel, information described by digital signals can be transmitted by digital modulation techniques.
In this article, I present an effective multilevel digital modulator that can be implemented with a low-cost signal controller using fixed-point representations of numbers. The presented DSP algorithm produces an analogue I-Q output signal that can be converted to an RF radio signal by an analogue AM-DSB/SC method with orthogonal carriers.

A bemutatott DSP-algoritmus analóg I–Q-jelet állít elő, amely analóg AM-DSB/SC-eljárással kisugározható rádiófrekvenciás jellé konvertálható.

Ensuring the battlefield survival of aircraft is a top priority. It is not enough to know which equipment and systems are capable of increasing the ability of aircraft to survive, but also of knowing the reliability of these devices. There are several methods for analysing reliability. This article analyses a factor influencing its survival, using the Ishikawa method, as an example of a specific system.

A katonai repülőeszközök harctéri túlélésének biztosítása elsődleges fontosságú feladat. Számos módszer létezik a megbízhatóság elemzésére. Tanulmányunk egy a túlélőképességet befolyásoló tényezőt elemez egy konkrét rendszer példáján keresztül.

Nowadays, the interference cancellation or mitigation plays a key important role in the effective use of the advanced radar technology. This article is focused on the symposium presentations related to Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) of the radar systems. The modernisation of the Hungarian Army, the success of the Zrínyi 2026 program, basically depends on the understanding and the professional service of new technologies during their lifecycle. In civilian applications, the inter-radar interference of automotive radars is an emerging problem for automotive radar applications in case of dense deployment. Consequently, it is a priority task to gather, evaluate and transfer collected expertise on the advanced research findings and concepts related to emerging sensor technologies. It looks like the permanent engineering/scientific policies should be implemented to monitor and maximise radar performance to support safety measures required within EMSO. The article summarises the most recent results of the radars taking into account the domestic
expectations.

For more than a half a century, the Hungarian Defence Forces have been using helicopters
designed and built in the former Soviet Union. Naturally, operators have gained a lot of experience over the decades, but the whole system has also anchored the pilot training system and maintenance method. Now that the government has decided to procure new western designed helicopters, all of these must be left behind. The Hungarian operators need to learn that new operating philosophy which will definitely pose many challenges toward the pilots and maintainers. In this study, I would like to point out these challenges.

In 2018, the Government of Hungary decided to purchase 36 light and medium helicopters. These Helicopters represent the most advanced technology of our time, with the most advanced avionics, reconnaissance and weapon systems. There are several conditions for receiving and integrating the helicopters in service. The doctrinal background associated with the new types, operational applicability, tactical procedures and infrastructure conditions are essential to get started. My article was designed to highlight the questions on most important areas of service integration.

Ensuring air defence in a country provides a constant challenge to all individuals and organisations carrying out such tasks. One of its particular areas is the all-around protection against explosive devices installed on low-altitude UAVs, referred to as air defence activity. This article provides a detailed analysis of the aspects of the organisation and the initial operation of municipal air defence. Approaching from a historical perspective and regarding the failures of first applications, it will focus on social importance. The article is based on the study and analysis of Hungarian and international professional literature related to the topic and the author’s experience in the field of military history. As a result of this article, it can be declared, that deaths and other accidents in the air by strikes of asymmetric warfare could be prevented in the future by building up a mobile air defence system on a regional basis. That could be deployed as a quick response unit against UAVs.

Ennek egyik speciális területe a kis magasságon repülő, kezdetleges, pilóta nélküli légi járművekre telepített robbanóeszközök elleni minden irányú védelem ügye, amely légvédelmi tevékenységként értelmezhető. A cikkben részletesen bemutatom a települési légvédelem szervezésének és kezdeti működésének kérdéseit, történelmi távlatokból vizsgálva és az első alkalmazások kudarcaiból kiindulva, rámutatva azok társadalmi fontosságára. A cikk megírásának alapja a témakörhöz kapcsolódó hazai és nemzetközi szakirodalom tanulmányozása és elemzése, valamint a szerző hadtörténeti témakörben szerzett tapasztalatai. A cikk eredményeként megfogalmazható, hogy az aszimmetrikus hadviselés légitámadásai során bekövetkezett halálesetek és egyéb balesetek a jövőben megelőzhetők lehetnek egy, az egész országra kiterjedő, alapvetően pilóta nélküli légi járművek ellen gyorsreagálású egységként kitelepülő mobil légvédelmi elhárító rendszer kiépítésével.

The Zrínyi 2026 National Defence and Armed Forces Development Program allows for such
a capability development that is unique in the history of the Hungarian Defence Forces. In
2018, the renewal of the helicopter culture began with the procurement of light and medium
multipurpose helicopters, which can only be complete with the development of combat helicopter
capability. In addition to the combat efficiency and the proper technical reliability of these
devices, reducing the vulnerability of the helicopter crew and the combat helicopter itself is
particularly important. When selecting the type that best suits the Air Force, it is indispensable
to assess the construction designs that can enhance the survivability of combat helicopters.

A légierő számára leginkább megfelelő típus kiválasztása során elengedhetetlen vizsgálni azon konstrukciós kialakításokat, amelyekkel a harci helikopterek túlélőképessége növelhető.

The automotive industry is one of the most dynamically growing fields of the manufacturing
area. Besides this, it has very strict rules concerning safety and reliability. In our work, our aim is to point out the importance of the automotive industry (based on statistics) and the rules in connection with risk and root cause analysis. The most important risk analysis method is the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). According to standards and OEM regulations, FMEA is obligatory in the automotive sector. In our study, we summarise the area of FMEA usage, its types and process steps.

A research at the Unit of Aviation Meteorology, Hungarian Meteorological Service aims to extend
the website part (http://aviation.met.hu) for Wave Gliding within Model Forecasts. The first author reported the first steps of this research in a previous article. Some of the planned tasks are already completed, and the research also opened towards new directions. The Scorer-parameter is implemented in the AROME model and is available for some case studies; the next step will be to prepare implementing for operative use in the near future. The evaluation of the case studies is part of an MSc thesis. This research became connected with another, formerly independent research by the co-authors dealing with turbulence forecasting. Their research aims to improve free-atmospheric turbulence modelling in general, by development of parameterisations. One of their conclusions were that underestimation of turbulence is probably significant when trapped lee waves appear. Thus, we plan to work jointly.

In our days, unmanned aerial vehicles – drones – and cloud computing systems are widely known branches of technology. The Mission as a Service is not just an utopian vision, the current technology enables us to control swarms of UAVs through the internet. Our research contains the development of a cloud-controlled prototype unmanned aircraft system, together with the necessary functional and security testing, and the publication of the observed results.
Applied technologies include amongst others: OpenStack cloud architecture, MapBox map display framework, MAVLink communication protocol, MAV Downlink mobile app and the APM autopilot. The present publication describes the results achieved so far, the system in its current form is ready for the initial flight tests.

The aim of the publication is not simply to present the applicable forms of unmanned traffic management and counter UAS measures, but to provide a system to arrange and operate these options. In the paper, the expression drone refers to small remotely piloted aircraft systems which can be purchased from commercial stores or from online stores and which are applied for own (hobby), business and public service purposes. After the introduction, the first chapter shows the intensively increasing number of drones which underlines the actuality of the topic. The second chapter provides an overview of the beneficial areas and the threats posed by drones. The third and fourth parts discuss the administrative measures of drone traffic management and the possible active countermeasures against drone threats. In the penultimate chapter, the author suggests a sample system which might be applicable for managing drone traffic and drone threats, and the final chapter summarises the comprehensive system of drone traffic and threat management.

The airline industry has grown to become a global sector today to link countries and continents quickly and easily. Due to its economic, social importance and impact, aviation is one of the preferred targets of terrorism. Meanwhile, security practices related to aircraft security and surveillance have been strengthened by lessons learned from terrorist attacks of recent decades, impeding access to the aircraft for the potential future terrorists, the majority of ground infrastructures at international airports are open for passenger traffic. It is essential that the next generation of smart security solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) be implemented as soon as possible, filtering out different risk factors more accurately, faster and in a more reliable manner. At the same time, the legal, professional and cultured actions of the security staff against the passengers are also important, for which they can be trained by various simulation situation exercises and
regular in-service training.

Határokon átnyúlva országokat, kontinenseket köt össze, megkönnyítve a gyors kapcsolatfelvételt.
