Abstract

The global economic and political challenges of the 2020s have shed new light on the issue of globalization, especially in the wake of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the actions of Donald Trump. These events have exposed vulnerabilities in global supply chains and international relations, while creating a new geopolitical situation. In this framework, Alexander Dugin's views on globalization, which advocate support for a multipolar world order in opposition to the Western hegemonic order, have gained new relevance. Dugin's critique focuses on the homogenizing tendencies of globalization and the dominance of American culture, which, according to him, threatens cultural diversity and national self-determination. The study examines the causes and consequences of the differences between Western and Eastern philosophical perspectives in the context of globalization, with a particular focus on the geopolitical turning points between 2022 and 2025. Different interpretations have an impact on the coherence of societies and economic and international relations. The conclusions of the study highlight that the future of globalization may increasingly move in a deglobalizing and multipolar direction, where national interests and sovereignty take center stage.
