Venezuelai válság: az olajexport múltja és jövőbeli kilátásai

Absztrakt
Venezuela tekintélyes nyersanyagtartalékokkal rendelkezik, ennélfogva – figyelembe véve Földünk továbbra is növekvő energiafogyasztását – a világpolitikában is fontos szerepet tölthetne be. A dél-amerikai ország gazdaságát teljes mértékben az olajiparra alapozta, emiatt a világpiaci árváltozások igen érzékenyen érintették. Az 1980-as évek végén nemzetközi hiteleket kellett felvennie, jelenleg pedig hiperinflációval, humanitárius válsággal küzd. Az egyre romló gazdasági helyzet az olajiparra is kihatott, az infrastruktúra állapota is rosszabbodott. A cikk bemutatja az olaj kitermelésének történetét és vizsgálja a jelenlegi válsághoz vezető okokat, a jövőbeni lehetőségeket.
