Abstract
Wahhabism, as the main religion in Saudi Arabia, is known as the most fundamental and radical branch of Islam, however it started as a reformist movement and does not support the violence at all. The religious scholars had changed the Islam for their own purposes, which indicated as Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Wahhab saw, the setback of the Islam. As a result of this conflict of interest and the greatpower pursuit of Ibn Sa’ud, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was established in September 19, 1932. Since 1979, the kingdom started to support the spread of Islam publicly, which sometimes means the support of radical Islamic terrorism.
