The Birth, Drill and Manuals of the Royal-Imperial Light Infantry 1760–1815

Abstract

The main objective of my work is to present the evolution, developement, drill and instruction manuals of the organized light infantry troops of the Habsburg Monarchy from the middle of the 18th century till the end of the Napoleonic era. I am presenting topic based on contemporary insctruction, manuals and documents.
