Abstract
During the past seventy years most Southern and Southeast Asian countries had to deal with multiple armed conflicts which contained a clear religious and/or ethnic motive. This paper will focus on one of these countries, Malaysia to find reasons which transformed this country into the most stable multi-party Parliamentary system in the whole Southeast Asian region.
