Current Questions of Treatment and Regulation of Construction and Demolition Wastein the Defense Sector

Abstract

Waste and waste management are a major environmental issue of our day. A special type of waste is construction and demolition waste, which is produced in large quantities annually in Hungary and in the European Union member states. Better and better solutions are being created to deal with the situation. However, the question arises as to how the legal regulation of construction and demolition waste helps to reduce the amount of this type of waste. And how the objective of the circular economy can be achieved. In this article the author reviews the legal background of construction demolition waste and reveals the problems of waste management. It examines the situation in Hungary and proposes actions to achieve the goals of the circular economy and the implementation of regulatory tasks.
