The Tuaregs: From Rebellion to Civil War

Abstract

By the uncertainty of the society we mean a significant part of the conflicts of Africa, and the complex challenges of the continent, on the level of the sovereign states (such as Somalia or Sudan), as well on the regional level as we see it in the Sahel region. The decade-long societal neglect led to the outbreak of the civil war of Mali in 2012. In this paper I present shortly the Tuaregs, one group of the actors of this civil war.
