The Security Aspects of the Global Climate Change and the Melting of Icecaps

Abstract

In this case study the author highlights a recent global challenge, which happens to be the climate change and its security aspects. One of the biggest challenges of our lives is the climate change with all the negative side effects following it, yet it is unsolved. However, these effects might have an impact on the defense forces and on the defense sector as well.
    Besides of the presentation of climate change and its security concerns, the author seeks to unravel the connection between infectious diseases, epidemics and climate change. Along this comparison the author tries to highlight the coherens between geopolitical and geostrategical effects and the melting of Artic’s ice. All in all the author tries to draw attention to the medical effects connected with the ice melting.
