Abstract
The study examines and interprets the effects of the Russo-Ukrainian war from Slovakia’s point of view using analytical and evaluation methods. It is divided into political, military, social, and economic security sectors. For the sake of transparency and interpretation of the connections, it also covers the short period before the escalation of the war. Slovakia has had four consecutive governments since the escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian war on 24th February 2022. The present paper briefly reviews the changes in the Slovak domestic policy and assesses the responses of the political elites to the war in the light of the changes that took place up to 31st October 2023.
