Abstract

The paper aims to update and complement our previous analysis on public security expenditures. The refugee crisis in 2015 has brought the need for public safety to the forefront of our life, political space and communication, with a number of consequences. As a result of the above, the primary question we seek to answer is whether we have actually spent more on public safety in recent years, and how the structure of resources spent in this area has changed over these years?
