Abstract
Like so many times in its modern history, since 22 May 2014 Thailand is under a rule of military-dominated government. The role and achievements of the governing military junta were object of discussion since its formation. This discussion was broadened with further elements after the creation of the country’s new Constitution. This paper aims to analyze the activity of the transitional military government of Thailand based on the political and economic aspects, and placed it in the procession of the country’s development. In addition, with the interpretation of the 2017 Constitution, it overviews the perspectives of the solution of the political crisis.
