Abstract
The aim of the study is to examine, whether there is, and if so, what kind of a connection between mass migration and the religiously motivated terror attacks committed in the European Union after 2010. The increasingly frequent and effective terrorist attacks and the significant number of refugees are increasing concerns, thus managing these problems is an issue of key importance in European politics. The study gives a detailed overview of the Islamist terrorist attacks committed in Europe after 2010. The period of 2010–2014 and the following years are examined separately in order to clearly demonstrate the effects of the migration flow that started in 2015.
