Abstract
Studies forecasting the end of the liberal world order and the global leadership of the U.S. have been surging since Donald Trump was elected president a year ago. The current analysis is to examine the Trump Administration’s foreign policy within the context of those global trends that fundamentally influence the international world order, to identify to what extent the new U.S. administration would serve as a turning point for the international order. It also aims to answer the question what could be the consequences of the crisis of U.S. hegemony and of the liberal world order for international relations.
