Absztrakt
Az AUKUS egy 2021-ben létrejött háromoldalú védelmi megállapodás Ausztrália, az Egyesült Királyság és az Egyesült Államok között, amely új szintre emeli a stratégiai együttműködést az indiai-csendes-óceáni térségben. A megállapodás két pilléren nyugszik: az első az ausztrál nukleáris meghajtású tengeralattjárók beszerzésére, míg a második a közös képességfejlesztésre fókuszál. Ez utóbbi keretében a három ország olyan, a jövő fegyverkezési versenyét meghatározó területeken dolgozik együtt, mint a mesterséges intelligencia, a kvantumtechnológia vagy a hiperszonikus rendszerek. A tanulmány Új-Zéland esetleges csatlakozását vizsgálja az AUKUS második pilléréhez, a kormányzati narratívák és a stratégiai dokumentumok alapján.
