Religious Armed Conflicts in Africa: Fault-Lines

Abstract
The study examines the causes of religious armed conflicts in Africa after the Cold War, focusing on the religions of the continent the interrelationships between religion and conflict and the key circumstances behind African armed conflicts since 1990. The study also addresses the activities of the Holy See both in relation to Africa and to security challenges. The aim of the study is to explore the main factors of religious armed conflicts in Africa focusing on the relationship between the causes of religious and non-religious armed conflicts.
