Abstract
Nowadays, the knowledge and application of modern threat, deterrence and communication techniques are taken for granted at both the strategic and tactical levels. At the same time, the author believes that it is important and interesting to study the scientific findings that have come to light in these areas from antiquity, as they can provide a wealth of lessons for today.
