Church and Intelligence

doi: 10.32563/hsz.2019.2.10

Abstract

The Roman Catholic Church is using some intelligence resources since the institutionalised age which is also true to the other Christian churches but to a lesser extent due to their absolutely different hierarchy. The demand naturally comes from the church’s and the theocratic state’s missionary work and also from the operational difficulties. The foundation of the convents and the centralised hierarchy of the church was a huge milestone. On the other hand, it is a must to declare that it also causes many inside security problems which are not completely solved.
