Abstract
Abstract
The principal subject of the following paper is the central actor of military modernization: the soldier himself. Through the analysis of the recent LYNX Pilot basic training program, the study intends to highlight correlations between fundamental socio-cultural attributes of the recruits and the successful completion of the specialized basic training. This enables us not only to have a better understanding of the potential recruitment base within the population, but also to discern the motivational factors of the next generation in military service.
