Organisation and Mission of Hussar Regiments in the Allied Forces

Abstract

The Hungarian Hussars are the Hungarian light cavalrymen, who, during the last half thousand years, have influenced and even changed military warfare. Sharing best practices, Hungarian Hussars trained and helped to create Hussar Corps in 34 countries of the world. Although over time and with technological progress, the era of the Hussar troops fighting on horseback has all passed in the twentieth century, but not the Hussars themselves. The next article is aiming to introduce the organisation and mission of the Hussar units that are still in active duty in the Danish and French Armed Forces.
