Job Creation for the Hungarian Defence Forces Related to the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

In 2019, the Covid-19 pandemic spread from China, which  has decisive negative economic consequences in Hungary  as well. The Government announced the Economic Action  Plan, to which the Hungarian Defences Forces contributes  by creating jobs. The newly redeployed posts are opened to  those who lost their jobs during the pandemic. In less  than a year, more than 1,200 people joined the Hungarian  Defence Forces for temporary military service.
