The Use of the Disaster Management Radiation Reconnaissance Unit as a Mobile Command Point

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the use of a radiation reconnaissance unit – regularised at the National Directorate General for Disaster Management, Ministry of
the Interior – as a mobile command point. For this, the whole regulation system will be summarised that ensures the theoretical application of this unit, furthermore the technical specification of the mobile command point, as well as experiences gained by exercises involving this vehicle in the recent years.
