doi: 10.32563/hsz.2019.1.5

Abstract

This study shows through the work of a French soldier –  Roger Trinquier –  the main characteristics of asymmetric, low intensity irregular warfare. The author delivers through French historic examples the need for novel approaches to professional military education of officers, the introduction of new concepts, solution and methods, and initiates further research on operational-level command-andcontrol, and employment of force.
