Amikor a kultúra háborúba megy
A kulturális hírszerzés operacionalizálása a modern hadviselésben

Absztrakt
A tanulmány azt vizsgálja, milyen feltételek mellett válhat a kultúra a katonai döntéshozatal számára kezelhető műveleti tényezővé. A kultúrát jelentésstruktúraként értelmezi, amely normák, narratívák és identitásminták révén strukturálja a társadalmi viselkedést. A fő állítás szerint az akadály nem a tudáshiány, hanem az intézményi integráció hiánya. Ennek kezelésére a kulturális hírszerzést integrációs logikaként értelmezi, és egy ISR-analóg modellt javasol az érzékelés, elemzés és alkalmazás mentén. A tanulmány arra jut, hogy a kultúra megfelelő integráció mellett a műveleti környezetet strukturáló tényezőként jelenik meg.
