A háború rejtett ára: környezeti károk az orosz–ukrán háború során

Absztrakt
A fegyveres konfliktusok környezeti hatásai gyakran alulértékeltek, noha hosszú távon súlyosan befolyásolják az ökoszisztémákat és az emberi egészséget. Az orosz–ukrán háború során több mint 25 000 km² mezőgazdasági terület vált használhatatlanná robbanóanyagok és vegyi szennyeződések miatt, veszélyeztetve az élelmiszer-biztonságot és az ivóvízkészleteket. Az üvegházhatású gázok kibocsátása elérte a 200 millió tonnát, meghaladva számos iparosodott ország éves emisszióját. Az infrastruktúra pusztulása és a természeti erőforrások rombolása súlyosan fenyegeti Ukrajna ökológiai egyensúlyát és a globális klímavédelmi célokat. A konfliktus rávilágít a modern hadviselés hosszú távú, globális környezeti kockázataira.
