Absztrakt
Authors of this article illustrates how the ethnic recruitment in Indian armed forces begun during colonisation. The article addresses deployment of Indian soldiers in Europe and other parts of the world during the WW1. By using the ethnicity and class divisions how the regiments were raised has been examined through the text.From martial races to all India all caste recruitment, Indian army has been through the significant transformation.
