Abstract

On 23 June 2016 the majority of British citizens voted for leaving the EU. With Britain’s exit, the population and the economic power of the Union will be reduced. n this paper, we provide a summary on the possible scenarios of the BREXIT process by examining the available agendas. First, we review the political debates on BREXIT, then we analyse the legal procedure and finally we summarize the economic aspects. By presenting the political, legal and economic agendas, we argue that there are different ideas and plans in terms of timing and the ways of implementation of BREXIT and also that numerous strategic and tactical uncertainties lie behind these.
