The Postmodern Rule of Law

Abstract

This academic essay endeavours to compare the classical rule of law which emerged in the 19th century with the current postmodern rule of law by presenting the views of the author and international experts concerned. As a major topic: the sovereignty of the nation state, constitutional courts of nation states and the Association of Constitutional Courts of the European Union are regarded as an ultimate guarantee to settle jurisprudential issues between Member States and the central government of the Union, to eliminate anomalies of the postmodern rule of law.
