Abstract
The aim of the study is to answer the question why – despite their historically friendly relations, cultural similarities and geographical proximity – Poland and Hungary have such different approaches towards Ukraine and the Russo-Ukrainian war. The research uses a comparative analysis method, comparing the two countries’ relations with Ukraine and Russia through four dimensions: geography and history, foreign policy, social perceptions and security.
