Abstract

At the beginning of the third decade of the 21st century, the classic front lines of the Cold War period reappeared in the East Asian region, which had a serious impact on the two states of the Korean Peninsula. With regard to the Republic of Korea, it can be considered that the population has become disillusioned with the left-wing course promoting cooperation with North Korea. In the case of foreign policy and security issues, the cooperation with the United States and its allies (Japan, NATO) became even tighter.
