The Extent of Private Security Expenditures

Abstract

The paper reviews the last five year number and turnover tendencies of private security companies. Hereby – using estimations – it aspires to draw conclusions about the extent of private security expenditures. To the evaluation of private security sector and to the comparison between state and private security expenditures it is an indispensable scientific tasks. In order to achieve the above mentioned statements we present the analysis of the available statistical data. Moreover – based on the fact, that the statistical data do not describe the reality – we apply alternative solutions to ascertain private expenditures.
