Abstract

The first part of the study has reviewed the complex phenomenon of child soldiery from its development to the reintegration of child soldiers. This second part studies the concerning dispositions of international legal standards which aim at eliminating child soldiery and reviews the last decade’s most relevant reports. The legal sources do not show a homogeneous picture, from numerous point of view the phenomenon is judged differently – concerning the basis of the minimum standard, the type of the recruitment and the armed conflict or the position of the groups in the conflict; these are revealed in this study.
