Abstract
The current discussion about migrant crisis both in the European and the Hungarian media mainly focuses on the refugees and migrants of the wider Middle East. Nevertheless, the mid- and long-term trends demonstrate that migration from Africa, mainly its Sub-Saharan region – thanks to overpopulation, fragile states, armed conflicts, climate change, oppressive regimes, and economic challenges – will intensify in the coming decades.
