Abstract
The study outlines the most important internal and external crises that the Republic of Turkey currently faces, as well as the root causes of these crises, in the fields of domestic politics and internal security, and Turkey’s foreign policy conundrum. The author offers an assessment of the steps that are to be taken to preserve stability and to create the background for the possible role of a future great power.
