  • Sz. Bíró Zoltán

Abstract

The study describes the changes of Russian domestic policy in the past half-decade. The first two chapters of the essay concentrate primarily on the economic, social and political reasons behind the repressive turnaround of the Putin regime after the elections in 2012, also on the decisions that were made and carried out by the government, and the internal support that helped the repressive revolution. In the third part of the paper the author describes the expected processes of the Russian political system from autocracy to dictatorship for the 2016–2018 election cycles.
