Abstract
Founded in 1966, the Stockholm Peace Research Institute is among the top think tanks worldwide and one of the most significant research institutes in Europe. The SIPRI’s main research areas are tracking weapon developments, arms production and transfers; monitoring military expenditure; and examining disarmament. The institute uses the collected data in many ways: besides updating its reputable databases, SIPRI publishes various studies. This article’s aim is providing a helpful presentation in order to ease the use of SIPRI materials.
