Abstract
Identifying China’s global strategy and the process of its evolvement is not effortless. A lot of changes have happened during the first phase of the Xi Jinping era that touched this strategy essentially. Our study questions if there are global aims in the Chinese strategy, how does it evolve at all, and how can we characterize it? We attend to the main determinants of the evolvement and change, as well as the economic growth and the dynamically forming designs of the main partners. Our study does not confirm the claims on radical changes, it rather identifies a slow, peculiar forming and morphing of an external strategy.
