Abstract
The European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (Europol) issued its latest TE-SAT report, the analysis of EU statistical data on terrorism for 2017. TE-SAT is more than a simple database or annual situation report, as the provided data is accompanied by data and trend analyses on the terrorist threat targeting EU member states. The present analysis deals not only with the past year, but offers an overview of the past four years regarding the threat of terrorism within the EU, and supports TE-SAT data by further relevant sources.
