Az uniós külkapcsolatok elhúzódó dilemmái

Absztrakt
Az Európai Unió külkapcsolati rendszerét évtizedek óta elhúzódó dilemmák terhelik. Ezek egyaránt érintik az Unió külkapcsolati identitását, magatartását és eszközeit, valamint képességét az egységes hangon való megszólalásra a világban. Eme dilemmák feloldása manapság sürgetőbbé válik, mivel ami korábban sajnálatos, de elnézhető hiányosságnak számított egy viszonylag jóindulatú nemzetközi környezetben, az mára veszélyes fogyatékossággá vált a fokozódó nagyhatalmi versengés többpólusú világában. Ennek kulcsa továbbra is a tagállamok együttes politikai akaratában rejlik, amelynek hiányában az integrációs közösség csupán korlátozott befolyású szereplő maradhat a globális arénában.
