Planning of UAVs' Low Altitude Flight Paths

doi: 10.32560/rk.2020.1.2

Abstract

Regarding development of the UAV regulations at the EU, an intensive legislation process is expected in the EU Member Countries, too. Regardless of the UAV control principle, it must take off to execute missions, and, after successful flight mission, it must land. These flight regimes require from the UAV operators the highest skill levels. Besides there regimes there are many flight missions planned to be executed at low altitudes when UAV collision might happen. The UAV flight path must be planned in a way to avoid collisions, ensuring flight safety criteria. The purpose of the author is to introduce low altitude UAV flights and the paths best serving their flight missions.
