Abstract
In the publication, the authors seek an answer to the question of whether a marked difference or peculiarity can be determined between the different gas turbine engine constructions in terms of emission characteristics, if the engines are operated with one of the currently used alternative fuels. To this day, various alternative fuels play a key role in the implementation of environmentally
friendly aviation. During the developments so far, both synthetically produced and biologically derived gas turbine propellants, the so-called SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuels) fuel versions were used to the most extent. The presentation examines the change trends experienced in the detected harmful emissions during the operation of the engine versions used in some types of aircraft.
