doi: 10.32560/rk.2020.1.8

Abstract

The development of civil and military aviation is apriority objective in the European Union. European governments are particularly supportive of investments in the development of airport infrastructure in view of their growing role in the development and protection of industry and tourism in each region, and ultimately in the economic development of the country. Passenger and freight traffic at our regional airports in Hungary is currently at a low level, but significant growth can be expected in the future based on relevant international trends, especially with the increasing deployment of business and low budget aircraft. In most EU countries, the development of regional airports plays a key role in the development of individual regions and countries.
