The Possibilities of the Comparison of Compatequipment System in the Field of the Helicopter Capability Development

Abstract

As a result of the Zrínyi 2026 Defense and Force Development Program, the Hungarian Defense Forces are undergoing significant technical procurements. The currently available helicopter capability, due to the available number of helicopters, does not fully provide the tasks required for the ability. Capability development can only be achieved by renting / buying new helicopters. In order to create an efficient and economical operating system, the use of a multi criteria decision making method is essential, with the basic precondition for precise tactical and technical requirements. Only if helicopter capability is treated as a complex system, in wich one of the most important elements is the helicopter itself, so its selection requires great care.
