Abstract
The airline industry has grown to become a global sector today to link countries and continents quickly and easily. Due to its economic, social importance and impact, aviation is one of the preferred targets of terrorism. Meanwhile, security practices related to aircraft security and surveillance have been strengthened by lessons learned from terrorist attacks of recent decades, impeding access to the aircraft for the potential future terrorists, the majority of ground infrastructures at international airports are open for passenger traffic. It is essential that the next generation of smart security solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) be implemented as soon as possible, filtering out different risk factors more accurately, faster and in a more reliable manner. At the same time, the legal, professional and cultured actions of the security staff against the passengers are also important, for which they can be trained by various simulation situation exercises and
regular in-service training.
