doi: 10.32560/rk.2021.1.9

Abstract

In this article, the authors describe their research activities related to aircraft’s proximity and warning systems. After a short introduction the authors expound the various warnings and their level connected to the topic, and the Master Warning / Caution lamp, the Engine Indicating & Crew Alerting System and the Electronic Centralised Aircraft Monitoring system will be described. Our goal is not only to provide a comprehensive, easy-to-understand summary, but also to present in detail the warning systems that can be found in modern aviation.
