Late Accomplished Ejection in Szolnok Area I.

Abstract

As a student of the Air Force Academy Training College in Szolnok I started to study about the type design and innovation’s history of ejection seats and pilot emergency parachutes. These equipment meant the security of execution of flight mission for me, after my appointment to be military officer as an Mi-24 attack helicopter’s pilot-weapon system operator. Nowadays, these equipment mean serious responsibility for me, as a parachutist officer because of the same cause, and possibility to study new knowledge as a student. The research area of my PhD studies is related to an aircraft tragedy near Szolnok in 1967, the pilot died because of the late ejection from his failure-engined jet fighter typed MiG-15BIS. As a citizen of Szolnok I have made a decision to share my report on this topic with you.
