Simulation Capabilities at Hungarocontrol

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present HungaroControl’s simulation capabilities. Simulation is a key assessment technique in air traffic control used for training programs and for the validation of new concepts. After a brief introduction the simulation techniques are grouped and described. Based on the technique the applicable simulation infrastructure and methodology are elaborated, with special attention to the project lifecycle and the subject matter experts involved.
