Impact of Air Transport and Aeronautical Industry on the Economy

Abstract

The air transport and the aeronautical industry are the knowledge based high sectors of economy. Because their well-organised structure, they have largest added values pro employees. It is not sudden; all the well-developed countries are active in these economic sectors. This paper calls the attention on the strategic developments of the economy cannot avoid the air transport and the aeronautical industry developments. The aeronautics just has reached the end of the second „S” – curve of its development. The transition period is characterised by changes in technologies and structures. In such cases, more easy to connect, to the major processes, to the concentrating market leaders. This paper tries to analyse the possible integration of the new developing countries into the inter-national cooperation of the aeronautical industry. At first, the paper introduces the major, technical, economic and structural problems of the air transport and aeronautical industry. At second, it analyses the interconnection of the economy and aeronautics. It underlines the important interactions defining the strategic developments and shortly defines the most important conclusions that mays support the strategic development of the aeronautical industry in developing country like Hungary.
