Absztrakt
This study assesses the significance of Zoltán Magyary’s activity and marks his place in the history of science. As a classic in Hungarian public administration, he combined the study of public administration and administrative law into a single, uniform discipline. A historiographic overview is also given and the impacts of his rich oeuvre on our age is analysed, touching upon various issues of the European Union and the global world order as well as the future of national states, which are the tokens of sovereignty.
